Road tests for the sports saloon
The classic AMG formula. That it is an AMG can be seen from the details that we have now learned to recognize over the years. The four squared rear exhausts and large front air intakes are evident, as are the imposing alloy wheels that significantly widen the carriageways and conceal the sports braking system with perforated discs. From an aerodynamic point of view, the rather low front splitter is combined with a profile on the tailgate that seems larger than the current one, while the diffuser is barely hinted at in the area that is in the middle of the exhausts. In the front, the protections do not allow you to see the details of the grille, while at the rear the definitive optical groups are completely missing. Great maneuvers also in the cockpit, not visible here: the C-Class will inherit theClass S.
Revolution inside the hood. Speaking of the C-Class AMG immediately suggests the baritone sound of the V8, but for the new generation, an important change could take place. According to some rumors, in fact, the car could take a new path while maintaining the current power level thanks to electrification: the first hypothesis is that of the V6 twin-turbo, but the rumors see in pole position a more courageous scheme that would lead to the longitudinal installation of the A 45 S's 421hp M139 turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with an additional electric boost to reduce emissions and weight without sacrificing performance. The clues on the four-cylinder would also be corroborated by the noise of the prototypes spotted on the road, but nothing is confirmed yet.
