100 horsepower and from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds. In addition to the award-winning design, important performance

Verge Motorcycles of Finland wins the Red Dot Design Award 2021 in the Product Design category. The bike that made it possible to bring this result home is the  Verge TS. With about three years of development on the TS concept, now we are. The design is unique, so much so that it led the judges to the awarding of this electric motorcycle.

It must also say that looking at performance alone deserves attention that goes beyond the Red Dot Design Award. The title has certainly rewarded that hubless rear wheel  (without hub and spokes, but that about 100 horsepower does not go indifferent. A power that allows you to close the 0-100 km/h in about 4 seconds. The rest, they do the maximum torque estimated at 999 Nm. In short, a bike dedicated to motorcyclists who are looking for performance, the real ones.

As for autonomy, the Verge TS can cover up to 200 km with a recharge, thanks to using the latest generation lithium-ion batteries. The charger is of the DC type; in particular, it allows the Finnish motorcycle to guarantee 100 km of autonomy in just 15 minutes of recharging. If, on the other hand, you are entirely at zero, a full charge takes almost four hours. The price? Relatively high, since we are talking about 24,990 euros, a price includes fork and Ohlins mono-shock.
