Porsche, a remarkable 911 Turbo S for 20 years in China

Porsche is an iconic brand that has been present on the European market for decades. The 911 is one of the most popular sports cars globally, even in China, where the manufacturer only arrived in 2001. To celebrate the milestone of these first twenty years, Porsche unveiled a special edition of the most potent 911 at the Shanghai Motor Show. The Turbo S.

The official name is 911 Turbo S Porsche China 20th Anniversary Edition, so long that, in the same way, that it takes to pronounce it all, the car has already reached 100 km / h considering the 2.7 seconds declared.

Under the hood is a standard Turbo S.

This particular Turbo S has been optimized by Porsche's tailor-made division, the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. It is immediately recognizable by the dedicated livery, by the large number "20" on the side, and by the many celebratory badges found inside. It is available in five colors chosen from the historical ones of the House: Gulf Orange, Star Ruby Red, Mint Green, Viola Purple, and Oslo Blue, the shade seen in the photos.

The China 20th Anniversary Edition is dedicated exclusively to the Turbo S sold on the Chinese market. In addition to the aesthetic package, it does not include mechanical upgrades considering that there are already 640 HP under the hood for a top speed of over 320 km/h.

With the 718 Spyder.

This exceptional 911 is not the only model with which Porsche takes part in the Shanghai Motor Show. There is also a particular 718 Spyder which, however, does not have a dedicated livery. It is a fully equipped version: the Sport Chrono package, 14-way electric seats, and, for the first time, the two-tone red and black canvas top are standard. Under the bonnet, a four-cylinder turbo, a 2.0 with 295 bhp unloaded at the rear through the seven-speed PDK gearbox.
