VW Amrock LED is equipped with IQ.LIGHT

Equipped with LED matrix "IQ.LIGHT"! VW This is the next model of the premium pickup "Amrock"

VW is currently developing the next model of the pickup truck "Amrock", but its latest teaser image has been officially released.

Amarok, which was released in 2010, made its debut with a 2.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder gasoline engine, and in 2016, the diesel engine was renewed, and a newly developed 3.0-liter V-6 engine was set, which is the first time in 12 years. It will be a full model change. In November 2021, the sister model Ford "Ranger" announced a new model that will be the 4th generation, and it seems that it will make its debut in the form of it.

In the image released this time, a prototype floating in the dark shines brightly on the LED daytime running light, and it seems that the company's matrix "IQ.Light" technology is installed. The next-generation Amlock, which VW calls a "premium pickup," will be equipped with LED headlights as standard equipment in all grades, but like other VW models, it will be further evolved by the expensive IQ.Light technology.

Matrix IQ. Light is a state-of-the-art headlight system equipped with innumerable LEDs, recognizing oncoming vehicles, street lights, traffic lights, etc. with a front camera and providing adjusted light distribution, and automatically switches between high beam and low beam.

It also has more than 30 ADAS, a 10-direction adjustable auto seat, digital instrument cluster, dedicated sound system, etc., and is expected to share most of its functions with Fort Ranger.

The powertrain offers a 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder, 3.0-liter V-6 engine, rear-wheel drive, and AWD. The lineup is expected to include entry-level "Amrock," mid-range "life," "style," off-road-focused "Pan Americana," and road-focused "Aventura." Has been done.

The next world premiere of Amlock will be at the end of 2022, and the commercial version will be available in the 4-door dual cab and 2-door single cab body styles.
