Lordstown Endurance The electric pickup on the market in 2021

Lordstown Motors has confirmed its strategy to reach the market by the end of 2021, with the launch of the electric pickup Endurance. At the same time, the American manufacturer has formalized the arrival, scheduled for the second half of 2022, of a second model called Van: the vehicle, which will be anticipated as early as June in a form very close to the definitive one, will exploit the same platform as the pick-up.

LG branded batteries and prices from $52,500. Over the next few weeks, the House will assemble 57 Beta models of the Endurance, with the aim of carrying out the final tuning and homologation tests before the start of production. Meanwhile, Lordstown has entered into a long-term agreement with LG to supply the batteries. The technical characteristics of the Endurance are different from those of many competitors: the powertrain is in fact composed of four single engines integrated into the wheel group for a total of 600 HP. Furthermore, the 109 kWh batteries should guarantee a range of over 400 km and recharge to 80%, using the fastest systems, in about an hour. For the moment the reference price is equal to 52,500 dollars, excluding incentives (about 43,400 euros), while details on the fittings are not yet available.
