850 horsepower without electrification! Pagani's next-generation hypercar, "C10" development vehicle scoop ... the successor to "Huayra"
Pagani is currently believed to be developing the next-generation hypercar "C10," which will be the successor to the "Huayra." The camera of the scoop site " Spyder7 " captured the vehicle that seems to be the commercial prototype.
The Huayra is a hypercar that was released in 2011 as a successor model to the "Zonda" with a limited number of 100 units. At its heart is a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine with a maximum output of 730ps and a maximum torque of 1000Nm.
The prototype we captured uses carbon fiber for almost all body panels. You can see the familiar short nose and fighter-like teardrop cockpit. There are no flashy aero parts such as canards and winglets on the front end, and it has a retro feel, but it has a large vent that may have integrated various aerodynamic elements.
Equipped with signature side mirrors on the side, the air outlet is hidden behind the front fender. At the rear end, a scoop is placed behind the roof. It looks like it's supplying air to the engine, but it could be a dummy. You can also see a taillight mounted vertically like a Zonda, and a diffuser with a complicated shape reminiscent of Huayra.
The expected powertrain is a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine made by Mercedes-AMG. It is unlikely that it will be electrified, but it is rumored that the maximum output will exceed the Huayra at 800ps to 850ps.
The world premiere of the C10 will be on September 12, 2022, at a festival of art, music, and technology in Milan, Italy, and is expected to sell for 300,000 euros (about 41 million yen). It is said that it is limited to 300 units, but it is possible that a special model with a more powerful engine and additional aero will appear in the future.
