The debut of the new generation is approaching: it will only be hybrid,

The Honda will present the new generation of HR-V on 18 February with an online event.

The announcement was accompanied by a teaser that shows the trend of the tailgate and the rear lights, highlighting the totally new design of these elements. 

Hybrid-only and: HEV for Europe.

The HR-V will maintain its identity as a compact SUV by introducing electrification as the focal point of the European proposal: 

the range will in fact only be available with hybrid powertrain e: HEV, whose technical characteristics are not known for the moment.

However, it should be the same technology that characterizes the CR-V and the  Jazz, with the use of a special single-speed transmission and two electric motors.

It is not excluded that the HR-V can use the 109 HP variant already proposed on the small minivan.
