2023 Mercedes Benz GLE

"S class" light installed! Mercedes Benz GLE improved new design is decided by this

I got the expected CG of the improved new model of "GLE", a middle-class crossover SUV that Mercedes-Benz is currently developing.

The GLE appeared in 2015 as a successor to the M class, and the second generation, which is the current model, was just released in 2019, but an improved new model will be introduced as soon as possible.

The expected CG obtained from the familiar KOLESA.RU is equipped with headlights equipped with LED daytime running lights that are very similar to the "S class". The corner air intake, which was integrated on the left and right, has been changed to an independent design.

At the rear, the outline of the taillights hasn't changed, but the internal graphics seem to have been revamped. In the cabin seen in the prototype, the number of buttons on the steering wheel has been reduced, a simpler design has been adopted, and dual screens have been placed. Also, under the infotainment display, it seems that the four vents, and buttons that control audio and HVAC functions are inherited, and MBUX may have been updated to the latest version.

The power train is a 2.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 249ps, a 2.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder diesel turbo with a maximum output of 700Nm, and a plug-in hybrid of an electric motor, and a 3.0-liter engine with a maximum output of 367ps. It is expected that an in-line 6-cylinder turbocharged engine, a 4.0-liter V-type 8-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 490ps to 611ps, and a mild hybrid "EQ Boost" will be carried over at the top, but EV cruising is improved in PHEV. In addition, it is expected that some engines will be upgraded in the improved new model.

The debut of the new GLE improved model is expected to be the fastest in 2022, and later in early 2023.
