Porsche 911 improved new model

Porsche 911 improved new model, this is a new meter panel that has been fully digitized!

Porsche is currently developing an improved new model of its flagship sports car "911 Carrera / Cabriolet" 992 generation. The scoop site has caught the latest prototypes of both models this time. I succeeded in capturing the interior for the first time.

It can be seen that the cockpit is fully digital, while the current model is an analog instrument panel. On the other hand, the layout of the center console hasn't changed much, and the infotainment display looks the same size, but it may be launched in the future.

The exterior features an active shutter intake with vertical slats that open and close on the front bumper. The lamp in the corner is special equipment for the development model, but the newly designed LED daytime running light and turn signal should be hidden under it.

On the side of the cabriolet, there is a sensor above the passenger A-pillar, and the wire runs through the front storage area. In addition, a sensor is attached to the wheel around the coupe's undercarriage, and it seems that it measures vehicle dynamics tests and load data.

The rear of both the coupe and cabriolet prototypes is completely covered and the details are unknown. However, because there is a dual exhaust pipe in the center of the bumper, it is rumored that a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter horizontal 6-cylinder unit, which is also installed in the "911 GT3", will be installed. Furthermore, the lineup of hybrid models is certain.

The world premiere of the 911 Carrera and the improved 911 Cabriolet is expected in late 2022.
