The Honda is preparing to introduce in Europe the model year 2021 the Civic, which net of minimal changes to the catalog of the stands and optional resurface content and style determined by the recent restyling. The real novelty, announced for some time by the company as part of a review of its strategies in the Old Continent, is the exit from the scene of the diesel, which in Italy, for the two volumes, will be effective with the start of sales of the MY 2021, expected towards the end of next spring.
Two options are available. The hatchback engine range will therefore renounce the 1.6 i-Dtec with 120 HP and 300 Nm and the offer of engines will consist solely of two petrol engines, both of which can be combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The offer will be based on the three-cylinder 1.0 Vtec turbo engine with 126 HP and 200 Nm (180 with Cvt), which declares CO2 emissions of 128 (135 with Cvt) g/km and an average consumption of 5.7 and 6 l/100km (with automatic) in the Wltp cycle. Alternatively, you can focus on the four-cylinder 1.5 Vtec turbo with 182 HP and 240 Nm (220 with the Cvt), with emissions of 133 (145 with the Cvt) g/km and an average consumption of 5.9 or 6.4 l/100km (depending on the type of transmission) calculated in the Wltp cycle.
